About WGI

About Western Ground Improvement.

San Clemente, California's design-build ground improvement specialist.

Our Firm

Built to be the Southwest's most trusted ground improvement partner.

Western Ground Improvement is a design-build contractor focused exclusively on Geopier ground improvement technologies. Based in San Clemente, California, we serve engineers, contractors, and developers across California, Nevada, New Mexico, Arizona.

Our work begins where the geotechnical report ends. We translate soil data, structural loads, and schedule constraints into installed ground improvement systems that let conventional shallow foundations carry buildings, tanks, embankments, and infrastructure that would otherwise require deep foundations.

The design-build model is central to how we operate. By owning both the engineering and the installation, we shorten the path from feasibility to in-place piers, reduce coordination overhead, and stay accountable to the project team for performance in the field.
